Founded in 2016, Nexo Group provides expertise in helping our partners to define issues that their organizations face, analyze the associated risks with those issues, and develop the required road map to achieve transformational results. We accomplish this by providing a non-traditional integration of service offerings across four knowledge areas of finance, technology, strategy and operations. This level of transformation will be further enhanced through the full utilization of a client-centric collaborative model.
Nexo is the Spanish word for Nexus, which is the process of bringing ideas together in an imaginative way. Like the name of their company, the founders of the Nexo Group bring together very diverse backgrounds and experiences to form a connection that innovatively bridges the gaps and challenges of many organizations. Like its owners, John and Jose, the Nexo Group brings together a combination of professional services that produce invaluable outcomes to their clients and partners.
Our Team

Mr. Pennell is a dynamic leader and business strategist with demonstrated success in all aspects of executive leadership, operations and finance evidenced by a successful career that spans more than 2 decades. During the last 10 years, he has served as a member of multiple C-Suite Teams providing primary leadership in all aspects of organizational operations and finance with demonstrated success. His core competency is streamlining financial and operational processes through effective use of analytical, process improvement and project management tools. A secondary competency is the generation of organizational and economic value driven out of the effective management of complex, multifaceted capital projects specifically in the areas of technology and facilities.
Throughout his career spanning more than twenty years, Mr. Rosario has provided technical and leadership expertise in the assessment, development, implementation and management of technology solutions. These efforts have generated demonstrated value for organizations of all sizes and business sectors including enterprise, small business, not for profit and healthcare. Over the last decade, he has served as a primary strategist for his clients in the optimization of business processes and organizational efficiency. His core competencies include business analysis and assessment, strategic information planning, data management and analysis, health information technology, population health analysis, risk mitigation solution strategy, business case development, project valuation, and project and account management.
